| How strange... space always looked different at faster than light speeds compared to what the movies, comics, and tv shows taught him it would. But then, that was fiction, and he doubted you'd find someone in fiction who had a ring that supposedly could do whatever the wielder wished of it, but was deadlocked unless in the presence of a similar - but very different shade of colour - ring. Or maybe you could. He didn't know, never had a knack for writing comic books. Journalism on the other hand? Hah! He wished. Alright, so he was somewhat decent at it, but like any good newspaper would hire someone when they're only fifteen years old. He either had to be better than he thought he was, or they'd have to be fairly desperate. Stupidity was an optional extra for both of them. Still, he had flight, intergalactic hyperflight, and a life protecting aura that doubled as a shield. Not bad stuff to have when the rest of one's powers aren't useable. On the other hand, that meant that his best bet to stop a hulking monster with super strength, would be to ram it while in flight, and through e=mc², end up hitting ramming them very hard. Heck, in theory, if he were to collide with something right now, he'd end up hitting it with more weight than the universe itself. Crazy, but thats how the math worked it out. Thankfully the ring was a supercomputer like no other, and had everything calculated for him. So all he had to worry about was getting back to Earth in time for a nice nap.
(OOC: Alright, my first post IC. Can I request that noone actually takes control of - and subsequently auto hits - my character in their posts? It really feels offputting and ruins the pace when someone else forcefully harms your character without even a little consent) | |

| Jonny (that's his name) stopped dead in his tracks to avoid hitting whatever the heck was in his path. He looked at it, before coming to the realisation that this was none other than one of the guardians of the universe. Two of them had actually defected to form the Blue Lantern Corps, Sayd and- "Please... Ganthet is..." Ganthet was the other, often see as one of the more 'down to earth' one as it were, even though technically speaking he wasn't actually from Earth. Jonny floated near the guardian, his ring scanning to verify the kind of wounds. "What has happened to Ganthet?" He asked, hoping the guardian had enough life left in him to tell him. | |

| The Guardian looks up to reveal he is non other than Scar, Ex Black Lantern Guardian. "I Couldn't control myself, it was the ring" Scar points over to Earth,Specifically Coast City, "Where It Happened, The Birth of a Hero, and Death of a Guardian" | |

| Jonny flinched slightly when he saw who it was. Whatever was going on, it was either already very bad, or going to be that way. Gut feeling right now, but that was usually a good indicator. The ring explained to him where exactly in the cluster of stars Scar was pointing, in this case, Coast City on Earth. That was pretty much Green Lantern's turf, and thinking about it, probably Jonny's best bet if he wanted to heal Scar in time. Scar may have nearly caused an ancient prophecy of doom to come true, but Jonny was still a Blue Lantern, and it was his job to help those in need. "Just hang on..." He said, picking up the Guardian, flying toward the Earth, hoping he'd make it in time. And in his case, that actually increased his chances. | |
